This tour begins at Riomaggiore a beautiful town of the cinque where the sanctuary of the Madonna di Montenero can be reached at its wonderful location.
Visitors meet at 9.30 with their private guide by the ticket office of Riomaggiore train station and then on to visit the Cinque Terre, to learn about its history and after trekking for around forty-five minutes, you will arrive at the Montenero Sanctuary amidst its terraces planted with an array of Mediterranean scrub. Interestingly, the location is 340 metres above sea level so you can enjoy breathtaking views. Lunch can be bought at the sanctuary, or buy a packed lunch in the village and have a picnic.
