The itinerary lasts for approximately three hours and begins outside the Piazza de Ferrari, then we head to the S.Anna funicular and reach the first of the many hills surrounding the city with a clear vista of the port area
. In this part of the city, you can wander along and admire the old pharmacy with its historical links to Carmelite friars, who practised natural cures and dispensed herbal medicines.
We then walk through the city to take the lift to Castelletto and from this vantage point, you will have a fabulous panoramic view of the whole of Genoa.
Next, we visit the so-called Strade Nuove, past Via Garibaldi and via Balbi to another intriguing lift that connects to the funicular, rising seventy metres on a strange L shaped route eventually stopping at Colle di Montegalletto, again with spectacular views of the city.
